Yacht Captain (CY)

With the Yacht Captain (CY) qualification you can handle boats, motor and sail, up to 24 meters of length with no engine power limit.

There is no limitation of geographical navigation of the coast and it allows daytime and nighttime navigation .

The minimum age to obtain this degree is 18 years.

We are not currently providing training for the CY, however we do the following services:

• • Procedures needed to take the CY exam
  • Practices, motor and sailing, for the CY
  • Carrying out mandatory radio practices for the CY
  • Procedures for validation of the CY degree
  • Procedures for the renewal or duplication of CY

Scuba Elx has rental boats for CY, with which you can enjoy a day sailing along the coast of Santa Pola to Tabarca Island with your friends or family.
